Already running Notova? Install straight over it — no need to uninstall first, and
your books, backups, licence and settings are untouched.
Notova checks red7en.com once a day to see whether a newer version is out, and tells you
inside the app when there is one. That check sends nothing but the version you are running —
no licence key, no machine identifier, and nothing from your books —
and you can switch it off in Settings. Nothing else ever leaves your computer.

🪟 Windows users — you may see a warning or two the first time. Notova is newly published, so your browser may hold the download, and Windows may then show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. Your PC is doing its job; nothing is wrong with the app.
This happens because Windows tracks how many people have downloaded and installed a given file, and Notova is new. The blue screen fades as more people install; the browser notice can reappear with each new version, because Windows counts each release's file separately. Only ever click through a warning like this for software you trust — if the publisher is not Red7en LLC, the file is not a genuine copy, so delete it and download again from this page.
💡 Rather skip all that? The Microsoft Store version above installs without any warning — Microsoft signs it themselves. Same app, same licence, same $99. Use whichever you prefer.
🍎 Mac users: open the .dmg, drag Notova to Applications, and double-click. macOS shows one routine confirmation that the app was downloaded from the Internet — check that it names Red7en LLC, then click Open.

Thank you for downloading Notova. It is written and supported by one person, so there is no analytics package and nothing reporting back — which means the only way I find out what is wrong with it is if you tell me.
If you decide not to install it, or you install it and decide at the end of the 30 days not to buy a licence, I would be grateful for a short email to support@red7en.com telling me why. One line is plenty. Too complicated, missing something you need, the price, you found something better, you changed your mind — all of it is useful, and the blunt answers are the most useful of the lot.
